Preface:I Parambir Singh Kathait, a Government School Teacher from India, has created this web site with the objective of sharing my work with millions of people across the world. This is a small beginning from my side to expand the usage of ICT in teaching learning process. I am looking forward to make this site as a common forum for teachers and students by making this site intractable from any part of the world. Scope : Know Your Country – India is a Map Based study that students can easily relate to. Terrestrial Planets covers important aspects of these planets with special emphasis on earth. Project Highlights:
•Menu Based Presentations. •Topics are presented in a user friendly format that appeals to all types of learners. •Extensive research done to ensure effective and efficient knowledge transfer •Appropriate guidance provided for navigation •Includes graphic, animation and easy to follow voice over •Multilevel Quizzes to encourage learning •Appropriate background music to stimulate thinking. Alignment with Learning Theories:Using the CBTs and PBL concepts I have tried to address the Focus points of Well know Learning Theories View the Alignment with Learning theories Few Sample Projects have been given below - 1. Know Your Country - INDIAKey FeaturesProper Synchronization of voice and animation. Map Based Study of India with focus on natural resources. •Option to switch off sound when not required. •Appropriate colors used for depiction. •Multilevel Quiz with increasing difficulty. 2. Terrestrial planetsKey FeaturesComparative study of terrestrial planets. Multimedia content with voice over in English and Hindi. •Option to Change language and mute sound is available. •Comparative speed for each planet is maintained. Concepts of Density, Radius etc presented pictorially. Self made Video Clips to nurture contemplation.
